DOMS Housing is run by the Ouzounian family, a well-known business family in Cyprus, who in the past represented various international automotive brands, electronic goods and more. The family business focus changed around 25 years ago and the company exclusively focuses on real-estate.

The Ouzounian Family owns a number of commercial buildings such as the largest Business Centre, two buildings used as a medical campus by the University of Nicosia, and a number of buildings in the walled city of Nicosia (Historical Centre) as student accommodation-DOMS Housing. The Ouzounian Family is very well known for investing in the Historical Centre with an interest in restoring and renovating old buildings.

DOMS Housing buildings are listed historical buildings, located in the old Nicosia area and were built by the Ouzounian family many decades ago, being the first ever apartment blocks in Nicosia at that time. The buildings have a lot of history and many important people have been tenants such as the late president of Cyprus Tasos Papadopoulos.

The buildings were renovated by the late Pefkios Georgiadis, who was Cyprus most beloved Minister of Education and Culture, and were recategorized by town planning authority as Students Accommodation in year 2000, which makes them the first of Nicosia.

The Municipality of Nicosia, will be restoring the heritage facade of our buildings again next year, as part of the revitalization of the historic walled city incitive.

These historical buildings are now used as students’ accommodations for the Erasmus and other international students exchange programs.
